CALA Speakers Series: Wikidata and Cultural Heritage Collections

This event is part of the "Describing Chinese Rare Books and Cultural Heritage Collections" Speaker Series sponsored by Chinese American Librarians Association (CALA). The presenter will be Jackie Shieh, Descriptive Data Management Librarian at Smithsonian Libraries. Jackie will share Smithsonian’s Wikidata projects and her team’s overall Wikidata experience, including describing the Chinese Ancestors Portraits from the Museum of Asian Art in Wikidata and their decision-making progress.
