Article 10.9: The employee shall be given up to a maximum of ten (10) work days to review the draft evaluation and provide input, if any, to the Appropriate Administrator.
Julia Smitherman
30:06
There are emails about COVID-19 cases on campus being sent by SHS only to essential workers and workers on campus. There needs to be transparency with staff, parents, students, and faculty so everyone can be informed.
Todd Rehfuss
30:41
If you receive a notice of a positive case, please forward to the Union.

FSR-SSierra
36:00
does anyone know about the covid testing at SDSU lot 17? is this open for staff?
Kristine White

I did see a notice that the County testing was ONLY going to be for those with symptoms right now because the amount of available test are so low
Rachel Szakmary
39:42
not sure who the testing is for but they will be in the SDSU lot until Jan
Jacqueline Lane
39:47
As you know the University is allowing each office/department to decide what employees will return on campus. If the employee feels they can work virtual do they have any recourse?
Tessy Reese
39:56
your right 211 is only now testing for symptoms why we encourage you to call your medical provider to request a test
lori
40:06

wondering if employees are allowed reimbursement under the California Labor Code Section 2802 which requires employers to reimburse California employees for “all necessary business expenditures or losses incurred by the employee in direct consequence of the discharge of his or her duties.” …. Such as use of personal computers, scanners/printers and ** cell phones?
Kristine White
47:34
Do we know anything about Flex benefits or should those questions be directed to HR? Typically only have until the end of the year but some medical offices are emergency only.
Joe Newsome
51:35
Any indications that a “golden handshake” for staff would be considered?
LC
52:33
excellent survey! please everyone complete it.
Pat Meyer
53:34
Juan, What about the "Work From Home Agreement?
LC
53:39
How should we reply to a director contacting you unofficially from their personal phone w/no paper trail or communication documenting conversation?
Ingrid Niesman’s iPhone
53:46
I need to return ASAP & I feel like you are delaying my processing. My facility is bleeding money since I can’t open until this union stuff is resolved. you may COST me my job.
Mark Bruno
54:28
I may have signed a waiver as an essential employee, I cannot recall. If so, will this waiver for that application carry over for the repopulation?
Tessy Reese
54:51
send back an email outline the conversation so it is written down and then the manager needs to respond in writing.
adriana
54:57
why some people don’t get emails from the union if there with the union?
brendathompson
55:25
Ingrid, the union is looking out for US. They are thinking o four safety
Delanie .
56:01

58:06
Is the Union working on Golden Hand shake for retires
Robert Yslas
59:12
Regarding Golden Handshakes...all options are on the table, but the CSU has not mentioned it yet. It is a bargaining issue that will be discussed during the process of a new contract.
Jacqueline Lane
59:13
IF the University is not talking to Union about repopulation plans and they are not being transparent about those who get the virus and they left it piece meal for each office and department to make a plan then how can we even began to trust the University is concerned for our safety.
Valerye
59:25
can you please answer the question
Valerye
59:35
WHAT IS THE PROTOCOL FOR EXPOSURE
Valerye
59:46
THEY ARE TELLING US TO NOT GET TESTED THIS IS NOT OK
Robert Yslas
01:00:11
Go get tested
Delanie .
01:00:27
all the time low risk
Delanie .
01:00:36
yeah right
Kristine White
01:02:08
@Valerye she answered. You have to take your own health into your own hands. If manager is telling you no, document & contact the union. They’ve already said call your doctor. You have to be your own advocate. Please DO NOT jump down Union members throats because without them we may not even have jobs right now.
brendathompson
01:02:16
Your manager is not a doctor
Jeff Henson
01:02:34
Is the manager on sight? I bet not. Your manager is not a doctor
LindaWoods, ITS, SDSU
01:02:52
CVS and lots of places are doing free testing. Issue is how long it takes to get results.
LC
01:03:04
you know your body & if u feel off. listen to your body, not your manager. it's your health & your family
Joe Newsome
01:03:06
Typically if you have been “exposed” then County of SD contact tracers would advise you to “voluntarily quarantine” for 14 days. If employees advise the campus that they are staying home to quarantine based on CO. Health advice then the union needs to get involved if the employee is in any way treated punitively.
Elia Jarman
01:03:20
I heard that San Ysidro Health Clinic Covid19 testing is free http://www.syhc.org/
Jeff Henson
01:03:37
What about the issue that they were not informed that there was an exposure?
Joe Newsome
01:04:52
Jeff!
Joe Newsome
01:05:10
I think that’s a health and safety grievance
M Garcia
01:05:23
thank you!
Jeff Henson
01:07:40
Joe! :) Just seems like that issue needs to be pushed forward.
Cyndi Chie
01:08:02
"Golden Handshake" or "Early Exit" is designed to lower base funding obligations for the future and does not reduce immediate university obligations.
Joe Newsome
01:08:14
I agree you troublemaker you!
Pat Meyer
01:08:56
Do we have to honor the "temporary" Telecommuting Agreement.
Joe Newsome
01:10:55
Ingrid! Hi!
Joe Newsome
01:12:11
Ingrid, the union is not opposing returning to work. In our case it’s the College of Sciences, and possibly Academic Affairs. It is common for administrations to blame the union for anything actual workers don’t like. I suspect that is happening with you at the EM facility.
Jacqueline Lane
01:12:23
For those who want to go back then go back.
Jacqueline Lane
01:14:21
Faculty going back for research were asked to sign wavier not to sue the University and that is why it was brought up in the meeting last week.
