The United States is following the Western European model of attempting to legalizing destitution prostitution - If American Universities do not protect Girls and Women - Then they are implicit in allowing the woman to be told that their bodies can be used for survival.
who can the girls call for help? Who provides safety for the girls if they want to report?
San Diego Pimps - who are high on the list of traffickers - recruit out of middle school with no consequences - Bell middle school for example. Also Child Welfare officials do not protect foster girls from being trafficked by San Diego pimps. Universities can take the lead in seeking protection from well trained law enforcement. Mostly men are law enforcement and they need training in sexism and misogynoir as well.
