GI Film Festival San Diego Workshop | How to Craft a Low Budget Story
Independent filmmakers looking to make a low-budget feature often focus on the bottom line in production and post-production. But how can the choice of story itself – and the methods implemented in telling that story – help keep the budget down? Join New York Film Academy instructors Sanora Bartels and Crickett Rumley for a conversation about creative writing techniques that can be utilized for both narrative fiction and documentary features, followed by a Q&A and roundtable discussion in which filmmakers in attendance will be invited to share what has worked and not worked for them in the past.
